Because of our deep skill set in the building design and engineering of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs), Steel Nation has the capability to offer custom building solutions that provide a quiet and safe environment for customers’ employees, and for the neighbors who live nearby the work site. From single-compressor structures to designing, engineering, and erecting one of the largest gas processing plants in the Utica and Marcellus Shale formations, Steel Nation offers experience and expertise that is unmatched in the industry.
Every Steel Nation project is designed with Class 1, Div 1&2, Group D Explosion-Proof electrical components and motors, including all lighting, gas detectors, air handling equipment, and cranes. Steel Nation components meet NEC and oil and gas codes.
Steel Nation uses AutoCAD design and engineering for every one of our buildings. For complicated projects involving processing equipment and multiple structures, the sharing of AutoCAD drawings enables engineers and architects to “overlay” the steel building over and around the processing equipment to ensure that clearances do not interfere with the structures. From full-color architectural renderings, anchor bolt plans, and the sharing of .DWG and .DXF AutoCAD files, Steel Nation is leading the industry in utilizing new technologies to design, deliver and erect projects that are 100% correct from the start.

Steel Nation offers turnkey building projects and can take your project every step of the way, from permitting through the finished product. We optimize the production schedule by taking our building design directly to fabrication and erection. Without overlapping services, we can accelerate the design and build process while limiting the number of change orders that flow through to our clients at the end of the projects. We offer:

We offer full interior buildout services for offices and control rooms in addition to all of the associated maintenance, modifications, and upgrades to existing building such as overhead cranes, ventilation systems, and building expansions.
Count on Steel Nation Buildings to remediate overheating issues in your buildings. We can also provide a wide range of services such as periodic maintenance for fans, HVAC systems, and annual OSHA inspections for overhead cranes. We also provide training services for crane operators, rigging, manlifts and forklifts, as well as training on a host of other equipment.
Soundwall
Soundwall Projects
Steel Nation is experienced in the design, fabrication and installation of soundwalls that help to mitigate the noise. The soundwalls perforated panels are engineered with structural steel, mineral wool with batt insulation. Steel Nation can design the wall, pour the foundations, and install the walls, all in less than 4 weeks. The Steel Nation Soundwall is proudly made in the U.S. The strength, durability and insulation properties of all our walls meets or exceeds the standard test requirements for soundwalls in their category.
